The box of emotions

Danny started crying when a friend took a toy from him in the middle of a game. They said to him: "Do not cry, it is not beautiful!". Danny immediately stopped crying. But he imagined he had a box next to him, and he took the cry and put it into it. Danny closed the box tightly.
Another day Danny wanted to laugh and rejoice, when he met his good friends. But Dad was in a great hurry, and took him home. It was not a good time to rejoice. So, Danny took the joy that was in his heart, and kept it inside the box.
Another day he was scared and frightened, when he saw something that would have seemed so frighten him. They said to him: "It is nothing!". So Danny hid the fear inside the box.
Once he wanted a game that he really loved so much, but in the end, he didn't get it. So he took the love and put it in the box for now.
The box was small, and there was not enough room for all the emotions. Emotions felt the place was crowded. It seemed to Danny as if emotions were screaming from within, and as if the box was about to explode.
Danny thought what to do. He decided to open the box a little, and each time he took out a different emotion from the box.
When something happened that made him happy, Danny reached for the box and took the joy, and was so happy. Sometimes rolled with laughter.
If anything saddened him, he took some of the sadness out of the box, and sometimes he shed tears.
If something scared him, then he used fear. And saw that it was not terrible to be afraid from time to time.
When he felt he loved something or someone, he always knew that there was love in the box, and that he could use it, and fill his heart with love.
Sometimes Danny also put emotions in the box, at times when he could not feel the emotions. But he always remembered to take emotions out of the box, and use them whenever something scary or happy happened. Or when something sad happened, or when he wanted to love.
Since then, the emotions have not been crowded in the box. Because Danny always took emotions out of the box. Every time things happened in life, Danny knew how to feel them. And he felt wonderful to feel all the emotions.
