Something new will happen tomorrow

Gil loved new toys. Every week he asked Dad or Mom for a new toy.
When Mom bought him a car, Gil happily exclaimed: "What a beauty I have a blue car! I like that it travels fast."
But after a few days Gil no longer liked the blue car so much. This toy seemed to him already old. So, he asked Dad for a new toy.
When Dad bought him a new Lego game, Gil got excited: "I love this Lego so much! I have never had a Lego with so many beautiful parts".
But a few days passed, and the Lego looked to Gil like an old toy.
At night, before falling asleep, he asked himself: "What new toy would I ask for this time?" Then, maybe it was a dream, he heard the voice of a wise man telling him: "Something new will happen tomorrow".
The next day, Dad and Mom told Gil that they had a surprise for him. He thought he would get a special and beautiful new toy, but the surprise was different: the uncles, whom Gil loves, came to visit, and he so enjoyed hearing their funny stories.
Gil noticed that something new had really happened, and realized that something new is not always a toy.
The following night, before falling asleep, Gil heard the same voice again saying: "Something new will happen tomorrow."
The next day came to visit Daniel, Gil's best friend. Gil is so happy to play with him. They played and enjoyed themselves, until they hardly noticed that time had passed and it was late.
Since then, every day Gil notices that something is really happening. Something new, which was not the day before. Every day is a surprise for Gil.
Sometimes Gil asks for a new toy, but he is no longer just happy with new toys. He is also happy with the other new and interesting things that happen every day.
Even the old toys look to Gil like they are new.
